Music Monday: Best Music Moments From Supernatural, Season 7 & 8

Happy Monday everyone and welcome back to Music Monday! Let's share some songs we've been enjoying lately!  If you would like to play and I really hope you do, please see the rules and link up below.

Rules:

Every Monday share a few songs you've been enjoying lately.  It doesn't have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites - just something you'd like to share with others.  If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).

If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post's url.

Like last week, this Monday I'm spotlighting some of my favorite music from Supernatural - this time from seasons 7 & 8.  For season 7, I've picked "Turn Into Earth" by The Yardbirds (1966) featured in episode seventeen, "The Born-Again Identity", in a fantastic scene where Cas, while smiting demons, remembers who he really is.  As for season 8, I've chosen "Goodbye Stranger" by Supertramp (1979) from episode seventeen called "Goodbye Stranger" which is part of a great closing montage and there's even a Lord of the Rings reference.  What are some of your favorite songs from this tv show?

Bonus: "Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves (1985) from episode 20, "The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo", which introduces Charlie in a fun way (I don't know about you but I was so pleased to see the April 12th episode!).
